Bailey Communications HK Limited is a full service professional exhibition and event organiser based in Hong Kong. The company was formed in early 2018 following of the sale of Diversified Communications Hong Kong shows to UBM. The former-Diversified management team led by founder Stuart Bailey concluded that there were opportunities for a new boutique event organiser in Hong Kong, China and Asia Pacific markets and so Bailey Communications was born.

The focus of Bailey Communications is on developing quality events for both buyers and sellers. In particular where mobile-enabled technology is able to provide new opportunities for communities to meet face-to-face, gather information, source new products and services and do business. Bailey Communications will have a data-driven business model built to ensure that all stakeholders are able to accurately measure the return on investment and most importantly the return on time invested in events.

Technology is at the heart of the Bailey Communications business. With a focus on how technology can assist in matching buyers and sellers so that real business objectives are met; in short Bailey Communications will build smart events designed for the future.

Learning & Teaching Expo is Asia’s Leading Education Expo and Hong Kong’s annual signature event for educators. The Expo is supported by the education community from Hong Kong, China and increasingly across the Asia-Pacific region.

In 2023 the Expo enters its thirteenth year. It will continue to provide an annual platform for education buyers, governments, school leaders, teachers and educators in Asia to discover and source the latest developments in educational resources and learning technology.

Education suppliers use the Hong Kong show to meet educators at both government and international schools. Learning & Teaching Expo is supporting the Greater Bay Area initiative to provide greater connectivity and communication between the major cities of Guangdong Province and Hong Kong and Macau.

Learning & Teaching Expo is organised by Bailey Communications, presented by Hong Kong Education City and supported by the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR.

The event will focus on the future of retailing and how retailers are able to harness the power of data lakes of information that they hold about their customers’ purchasing habits. Understanding the potential of artificial intelligence, Connected Retail Experiences will address how consumers are able to find the products they need, without losing the pleasure which comes from the act of browsing, comparing and purchasing.

Founder & CEO

Stuart Bailey

With over 20 years of experience in exhibition creation and event organising, Stuart and his team have been working together in Hong Kong since 2004. Stuart is the current Chairman of the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Industry Association (HKECIA) and he has formed strong links with government and industry stakeholders alike. Stuart also sits on the Working Group on Convention and Exhibition Industries and Tourism (WGCET) under the Economic Development Commission. As a local craft beer enthusiast Stuart is also a board member of the Craft Beer Association of Hong Kong (CBAHK) and is actively involved in the staging of events for the association throughout the year. Stuart also chairs the committee of Exhibition affairs for the Hong Kong Wine Merchants Chamber of Commerce.

International Director

Jonathan Goold

Jonathan brings over 30 years of experience in the exhibition industry and has held senior positions in several organisations including as a director of Earls Court & Olympia Group and Managing Director of Clarion Events (previously P&O Events). Jonathan is an event industry specialist with extensive expertise in the sales, marketing and management of exhibitions, events and venues particularly in the UK and Asia. Jonathan has had a strong interest in education industry events and he has been involved in the sector dating back to the early 2000’s when he organised education industry events in Shanghai.
